Robert Hahn has written popular science articles for numerous weekly magazines and daily newspapers between 1984 and 1994 and co-authored 3 books about spirituality. The daily magazines include Upsala Nya Tidning 1983-86, Avesta Tidning 1985-1992, and Lanstidningen in Sodertalje 1985-91. Hahn was also the weekly medical writer for "the A press", a news bureau for 24 county journals in Sweden, between 1985 and 1992, and also also the weekly writer for the magazine Aret Runt 1987-94. Bi-monthly articles were written for Business World 1984-89. He authored the introduction to the book "To the memory of Marie" (Bonniers 1980) and co-wrote the books "Clear answers from the world of spirits" (Energica 1987) and "Kinship of souls" (Energica 1999), "The Clear Spring" (Energica 2004), and "Heavenly Road" (2007).

Best poster at SFAI.s annual meeting 2004 (Swedish Association of Anesthesiologists) 3. IARS Clinical Research Award 2004 (International Research Society, co-applicant with Christer Svensén. 4. First price in the bi-annual Radiometer Prize Competition for "best manuscript in anesthesiology" at the Nordic Association of Anesthesiologists´ Meeting on Iceland 2005 (together with Joachim Zdolsek and Björn Lisander). 5. Alvarengas Prize from the Swedish Medical Association for the best unpublished article in medicine during 2006 "The osmotic link between hypoglycemia and hypovolemia" (price shared with Fredrik Sjöstrand). 6. The great scientific scholarship 2009 from the European Society of Anaesthesiologists (ESA), 60.000 euro. 7. Second-best Abstract at ESAs Annual Meeting in Amsterdam in 2011.
